WRITING HISTORICAL FICTION
Do you live in Edinburgh? Do you love reading books by authors such as Phillipa Gregory or Bernard Cromwell. Have you ever fancied the idea of writing historical fiction?
I will be running an adult morning workshop:
WHERE: Stockbridge Library, Edinburgh City, Scotland
WHEN: Friday 27th September 2019 at 10.00 am to 12.30pm
The FREE workshop will cover how to research effectively when writing a story set in the past. Why it is so important to keep certain historical facts accurate within a fictional realm, plus how to find an interesting new angle or viewpoint to write about. There are also short practical exercises to help spark a creative flow.
Please contact me, Carla Acheson, if you have any questions regarding this workshop or further information can be obtained by contacting the library itself.
